Program Management Senior Director

The Senior Director of Program Management (Account Management + Business Development) is responsible for managing the Program Management team and partnering with the senior leadership team to meet TEAGUE strategic objectives. This role involves guiding the team in developing effective account strategies; collaborating internally with various stakeholders and building lasting, successful relationships with Boeing Senior Leadership; and assessing new opportunities and appropriate business development investments. The ideal candidate will serve as a close strategic partner to the client, introducing new opportunities and TEAGUE capabilities to them; and growing and deepening the client relationship through strategic planning and careful execution of those goals.

Who We’re Looking For

Your overarching objective is to develop Program Management best practices, tools and processes and guide the team in developing effective account strategies for Boeing, TEAGUE, a relationship that is upward of 70 years old. In practice, this means developing strategic plans to grow the studio revenue; forecasting revenue for long term planning, business planning and monthly forecasting; and working in close collaboration with senior directors, design managers and marketing to develop business objectives and future services planning.

The ideal candidate should be able to think long term about TEAGUE’s future needs; engage and facilitate conversations around strategy; and then execute short term plans to achieve these bigger strategic goals. You must have a proven ability to rigorously deploy business development and account strategies designed to grow our business in a disciplined manner. Strong planning skills and the ability to hold the team accountable for delivering on the plans is key. This person should take a diplomatic and collaborative approach, seeking out both internal and external stakeholders and working with them as partners to successfully introduce long-term change. You should have a proven ability to take initiative in seeking out new partnerships and be willing to work with imperfect conditions to achieve results.

  • Experience: 3 years director level account management experience, plus 10-15 years of overall account management and/or business development experience; BA from an accredited university required, MBA preferred; experience working at a design firm/consultancy is a plus;  aviation experience in business development, account management, and creating strategies to grow revenue; proven track record in executing the strategies resulting in revenue
  • Skills: Experience with Product Development/Design; exceptional communication skills; diplomatic skills; ability to lead strategic functions; exceptional presentation and written skills; highly analytical problem solver able to generate relevant metrics and recommend solutions quickly
